WAB SC45) between 10-17 May, 2014. Plans are to be QRV on 40-10 metre CW, SSB

10/05/2014: During the weekend of 10-11th May, using the callsign MX0INT, a
four man "Invoker Team" consisting Christian EA3NT, Vincent F4BKV, Gil F4FET and
Col MM0NDX plan to be active from the outer Farne island of Longstone (EU-109,
WAB NU23, Grid Loc. IO95). Activity will also count for the Longstone lighthouse
(BARLS A2814, ARLHS ENG-070, WLOTA 0234). At this stage it is likely the
activation will be during local daylight hours only, however they will strive
for a longer activation period when actually there, working with island

11/05/2014: Celebrating his 50th anniversary in Ham Radio, look for Haru,
JA1XGI, to be active with special call V650XG from the following islands: 9-15

(OC-059, WLOTA 1569); First week in December 2014 from the Chuuk Islands

14/05/2014: Five members of the Sands Contest Group from Morecambe, England,
will once again be visiting the island of Samos (EU-049, GIOTA SAS-006, MIA
MG-099, WLOTA 4163), for a holiday and DXpedition between 14-30th May 2014. The
group will be using the callsign SZ8S (kindly loaned to them by the Aegean Radio
Association), and operating from the Radio House at Zervou Point above Samos

I am sorry to inform you that YE5T and YE5S have again been postponed due to
John YB5NOF's wife health condition. The boat roundtrip voyage is 2 weeks and
her condition is not satisfactory where John can leave her for that long.
Fear not though, Midai Island OC109 is going to be activated by Imam YB4IR/5
this month.
Let us support this dxpedition.
Imam is also going to Lingga Archipelago to activate Singkep Island YB4IR/5
also this month.

The Florida Chapter of NAQCC will hold their April Field Event tomorrow, April
25th in Colby Park, Cassadaga Florida.

The Florida Chapter of NAQCC will hold their April Field Event tomorrow, April
25th in Colby Park, Cassadaga Florida.

LOOKING AHEAD -
15/04/2014: Look between 15-25th April 2014, for Pascal F5JSD, to be active
from the island of Mahe (WLOTA 3286), Seychelles Inner Islands (AF-024), as
S79SD. It will be holiday style traffic, from 40 to 10 metres (even 6 if open),
mainly CW, in the morning and in the evening. Note: for the 40m band, Pascal
will be sending CW over 7050 kHz, according to the local regulations (7050-7100
kHz), and listening probably under 7030 kHz. Pascal will use 100w into a

28/05/2014: Regensburg hosts the 99th German Katholikentag (Catholics Day) from
28th May to 1st June, 2014. Special event station DL2014DKT operates in this
