II4AA. The special call is to celebrate 90 years of the first Radio Club Station
in Italy I1AA that was located in the same QTH (Castello Estense) from 1924 till

05/04/2014: Operators Leo, PD0HFP and Frans, PA5CA will be traveling through
the Morocco Desert and the Atlas mountain range in a 4x4 Jeep Wrangler
(Unlimited stretched version) vehicle between 5-20th April 2014. They plan to be
active as CN2CA (TNX to Abdou, CN8VO) using an Icom 7100 with Harris Solid-State
PA into HiQ-5 HF mobile antenna. Operations will be on 80-6 metres. QSL via

06/04/2014: Operators from the Malta Amateur Radio League will be active as
9H1MRL/p from the Gordan [aka Giordan, Gurdan] Lighthouse (ARLHS MLT-003, WLOTA
0046, WW Loc. JM76CB) on 6th April, 2014. The lighthouse is located on the
island of Gozo (IOTA EU-023, MIA MM-004). QRV on 80-10 metres, propagation

from Buntu Village, North River district, The Gambia, as C5WP between 7-15 April

09/04/2014: Look for Hans DL6JGN, Ronald PA3EWP and Guenter DL2AWG to be
signing KH8/homecalls from Ofu Island (OC-077, USi AS002S, WLOTA 3053), Manu'a
County, American Samoa, between 9-20th April 2014. Plans are to be QRV on 40m to
10m using CW, SSB and RTTY. They will use 2x K3 and PA 600W with Monoband GP's

LOOKING AHEAD -

15/04/2014: Look between 15-25th April 2014, for Pascal F5JSD, to be active
from the island of Mahe (WLOTA 3286), Seychelles Inner Islands (AF-024), as
S79SD. It will be holiday style traffic, from 40 to 10 metres (even 6 if open),
mainly CW, in the morning and in the evening. Note: for the 40m band, Pascal
will be sending CW over 7050 kHz, according to the local regulations (7050-7100
kHz), and listening probably under 7030 kHz. Pascal will use 100w into a
vertical antenna. QSL via LoTW when he returns home, and other cards via the
French REF-Bureau (Please only this one), preferred. [F5NQL]

18/04/2014: Operators Choon E20HHK, Teerawat HS3NBR and Boy HS8GLR plan to be
active as E20HHK/p from Nu Island [Koh Nu; aka Mouse Island] (IOTA AS-145),
located off the shore from Leam Samila, Thailand, from 18-20 April, 2014. QRV on
80-10 metres, all the usual modes. QSL via E21EIC. [DX World]

21/04/2014: San, K5YY, will be active from Roma (Grid Loc. KG30), Maseru
District, Lesotho, as 7P8YY between 22nd April and 1st May, 2014. Plans are to
be QRV on the higher bands (17-10m) to give 7P to those who need a new country
or new-band country. Activity will be mainly SSB, with some time on RTTY and CW
as time permits. San's night operating will be on 30m CW, usually. QSL via K5YY,

29/04/2014: Look for Take, JI3DST, to be active as JI3DST/6 from Kuchino-shima
[Kuchino island, Grid Loc. PL49], Tokara Archipelago (AS-049), Kagoshima
Prefecture, Kyushu Region, Japan, between 29th April and 5th May, 2014. Plans
are to be QRV on 40-2 metre SSB/CW (FM/RTTY/PSK31/JT65A). QSL via home call,

01/05/2014: From 1-5 May 2014, look for Markus DJ4EL/p, Dirk DK4DJ/p, Sebastian
DK6BA/p and Henning DK9LB/p to be active from the island of Fehmarn (EU-128,
DID/GIA O-001, DOK: N47, WW Loc. JO54MM) and the Westermarkelsdorf lighthouse
(DLTD/GLHA #57, ARLHS FED-261, WLOTA 0637). Fehmarn island is located in the
Baltic Sea, off the eastern coast of Schleswig-Holstein, Schleswig-Holstein
state, Ostholstein district, Germany. QRV on 40-10 metre CW, SSB and possibly

28/05/2014: Regensburg hosts the 99th German Katholikentag (Catholics Day) from
28th May to 1st June, 2014. Special event station DL2014DKT operates in this
context from 1st April until 30th June, handing out the special DOK DKTR. QSOs
with the station also count towards the CONVENIAT award. QSLs will be sent
automatically via the bureau, uploads to LoTW, eQSL, ClubLog and DCL. Website:

06/04/2014: From 6-20th April 2014, look for some members of the Union
Francaise des Telegraphistes UFT (The French CW Society), operating the special
callsign: TM29UFT, for the 29th UFT annual meeting which will be held in the
city of Aubagne, South France. It's a CW only operation, from 160m to 6 metres
and even more. All the QSO will be confirmed via the French REF Bureau (Only
this one will be used). SWL cards should go via this Bureau also. QSL manager

09/04/2014: Between 9th and 15th of April 2014 look for the following stations
to be active to celebrate ARRL's centennial year: W1AW/1 operated by Dave K1TTT
located in Peru, Berkshire County, State of Massachusetts. W1AW/4 will be
operated by Bill K1SE (for PVRC/VA), located in Forest, Bedford County, State of
Virginia and will be joined by Steve K4EU (for PVRC/VA), located in Culpeper,
